Commercial Truck Dosage Calculations
In order to calculate the dosage requirements for a commercial truck tire you need to use the following formula. Please email us each tire size that you find that is not in our dosage table so that we can add it to future versions. Width (in.) X Height (in.) X .082 = dosage round to the nearest ounce For severe applications multiply by 1.25 Sample Tire: 295/80R22.5 295 = tire width in millimeters 80 = aspect ratio = % of tire width that each sidewall is tall 22.5 = wheel diameter in inches (in) To convert from millimeters to inches multiply by .0393 Example: Width = 295 x .0393 = 11.6 inches Height = 11.6 inches x .80 x 2 (two sidewalls) + 22.5 = 41.1 inches Dosage = 41.1 x 11.6 x .082 = 39 ounces Severe dosage = 39 x 1.25 = 49 ounces Ride-On (TPS) is tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) friendly in TPMS sensors that are hermetically sealed. Please check www.ride-on.com/tpms for more details.
Heavy Duty Off-Road Dosage Calculations
In order to calculate the dosage requirements for a off-road tire you need to use the following formula. Please email us each tire size that you find that is not in our dosage table so that we can add it to future versions. Width (in.) X Height (in.) X .157 = dosage round to the nearest ounce For severe applications multiply by 1.50 Sample Tire: 600/55R26.5 600 = tire width in millimeters 55 = aspect ratio = % of tire width that each sidewall is tall 26.5 = wheel diameter in inches (in) To convert from millimeters to inches multiply by .0393 Example: Width = 600 x .0393 = 23.58 inches Height = 23.58 inches x .55 x 2 (two sidewalls) + 26.5 = 52.4 inches Dosage = 23.58 x 52.4 x .157 = 194 ounces Severe dosage = 194 x 1.5 = 291 ounces Ride-On (TPS) is tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) friendly in TPMS sensors that are hermetically sealed. Please check www.ride-on.com/tpms for more details.
AUTO/SUV Dosage Calculations
In order to calculate the dosage requirements for an AUTO/SUV tire you need to use the following formula. Please email us each tire size that you find that is not in our dosage table so that we can add it to future versions. Width (in.) X Height (in.) X .0654 = dosage round to the nearest ounce For severe applications multiply by 1.25 Sample Tire: 285/35R19 285 = tire width in millimeters 35 = aspect ratio = % of tire width that each sidewall is tall 19 = wheel diameter in inches (in) To convert from millimeters to inches multiply by .0393 Example: Width = 285 x .0393 = 11.2 inches Height = 11.2 inches x .35 x 2 (two sidewalls) + 19 = 26.8 inches Dosage = 26.8 x 11.2 x .0654 = 20 ounces Severe dosage = 20 x 1.25 = 25 ounces Ride-On (TPS) is tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) friendly in TPMS sensors that are hermetically sealed. Motorcycle Dosage Calculations
In order to calculate the dosage requirements for an motorcycle tire you need to use the following formula. Please email us each tire size that you find that is not in our dosage table so that we can add it to future versions. Width (in.) X Height (in.) X .06 = dosage round to the nearest ounce. You may add up to 25% more product for use without wheel weights or in Severe Applications. Sample Tire: 180/60R16 180 = tire width in millimeters 60 = aspect ratio = % of tire width that each sidewall is tall 16 = wheel diameter in inches (in) To convert from millimeters to inches multiply by .0393 Example: Width = 180 x .0393 = 7.1 inches Height = 7.1 inches x .60 x 2 (two sidewalls) + 16 = 24.52 inches Dosage =7.1 x 24.52 x .06 = 10 ounces Severe dosage = 10 x 1.25 = 13 ounces Ride-On (TPS) is tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) friendly in TPMS sensors that are hermetically sealed. Please check www.ride-on.com/tpms for more details.
